The IT eDiscovery Manager will be responsible for establishing and ensuring successful implementation of eDiscovery and archive solutions supporting Endo.

By applying technical expertise, best practices, industry knowledge, and strong project management, the incumbent will enable IT eDiscovery and archival solutions that fulfill tactical and strategic requirements.

Beyond technology leadership, the role will be customer-focused and build strong relationships with internal business partners, 3rd party service providers, and across the broader IT organization. Through those relationships, the incumbent will understand the eDiscovery business area’s priorities and deliver on needed business outcomes.

The incumbent will be a key contributor to selecting, implementing, and operating Endo’s current, legacy, and future state eDiscovery and archival systems/solutions.

The IT eDiscovery Manager will work collaboratively across IT to align and obtain assistance from needed colleagues to deliver expected results & business value while ensuring request fulfillment and solutions fit within Endo’s technology strategic framework.

The IT eDiscovery Manager performs and coordinates the collections of company data in collaboration with in-house and external counsel, vendors, IT and other business functions.

They will utilize the knowledge of the Company’s infrastructure and areas of responsibilities in order to ensure and support preservation of electronic files (including, but not limited to email, user hard drives, phones, servers, and SharePoint).

This role interacts as needed/requested with outside counsel and vendors, under the supervision of Company attorneys and/or the eDiscovery Associate Director regarding the status, depth, breadth, and/or expansiveness of materials collected and/or preserved for purposes of responding to requests.

Job Description

Key Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for delivering IT eDiscovery and archival solutions across Corporate Functions in alignment with the technology and business strategy as identified and agreed to by IT and Corporate organizations. Lead efforts to execute against short-term (operations) and long-term (strategic capabilities) goals and objectives.

  • This includes operational execution, new capability planning and implementations, customer engagement, and systems lifecycle management.

  • This position is accountable for the development and execution of eDiscovery operational processes including the following:

  • eDiscovery Collection Planning

  • Structured and unstructured data collections

  • Creation of scripts for collecting information from databases

  • Triage, manage and track eDiscovery requests

  • Facilitation and support of collections from Application Teams, SaaS Providers, and IT Infrastructure Provider

  • Quality checks of completed requests, package data, and shipments

  • Media Tracking Sheet completion for all collections

  • Work with IT support team to set-up connections with 3rd party Providers

  • Manage issues/ad-hoc requests and facilitate resolution

  • Consult with Processing and Hosting Vendors

  • Provide activity and throughput reporting

  • Matter tracking

  • Data Transfer quality checking

  • Completion of data delivery and supporting documentation for data import/exports as required

  • Develop and Maintain eDiscovery collection protocols

  • Provide assistance and expertise using eDiscovery Collection Tools

  • Provide technical support of eDiscovery tools and systems

  • Provide updates to the ESI map for all relevant applications

  • Documents and ensures timely compliance with legal project requests; manage projects to completion

  • Embrace the principle of “continuous improvement” in all aspects of professional contributions.

  • Identify and propose opportunities to improve our overall information quality, resource efficiency, ability to respond to changing business needs, and scalability while maintaining focus on regulatory and compliance requirements.

  • Responsible for creating, refining, and maintaining technology standards and governance processes for supported applications.

  • Responsible for delivering, participating in required departmental activities and standard processes. This includes but is not limited to:

  • Change Control

  • IT Project Budget Management

  • Project methodology

Qualifications

  • Minimum Bachelor’s degree (Information Technology equivalent preferred).

  • Minimum 5+ years’ technology experience in a pharmaceutical environment is preferred.

  • Minimum 5+ years’ experience in eDiscovery related systems and technologies including SaaS solutions and vendor partnerships is desired.

  • Experience with eDiscovery processes, data and reporting analytics; developing and supporting integrated processes and technology solutions to maintain efficient operations.

  • Project Management experience is desired.

Preferred prior business partner / client facing experience.
